Mitacs and the Indigenous and Black Engineering and Technology (IBET) PhD Project have expanded their partnership to offer fellows special funding under the Mitacs Accelerate or Mitacs Business Strategy Internship (BSI) programs.
Through this renewed initiative, IBET PhD students will have access to up to 12 internship units while postdoctoral fellows will have access to up to nine internship units. Enterprise partners working with IBET Fellows will contribute a reduced amount of $3,750 towards the $15,000 research award.
