Isaac Ampratwum

IBET Momentum Fellow at University of Ottawa

Isaac was born and raised in Kumasi, Ghana. He currently in the University of Ottawa pursuing his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He completed his masters in the same program at the same university.

Isaac competed his undergraduate degree at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana, West Africa. Afterwards he worked for a period of four years as an Electrical Engineer before coming to the University of Ottawa to start his masters.

Isaac is a committed Christian and constantly volunteers in his local church and community. He says impacting his community with the love that Jesus showed him makes his life worth living.

Isaac also enjoys dancing and playing video games.
