Kimathi Kaai

Kimathi Kaai is a Ph.D. candidate in the Systems Design Engineering Department at the University of Waterloo under the supervision of Prof. Alexander Wong and Assistant Prof. Sirisha Rambhatla. Born in Nairobi, Kenya, Kimathi and his family immigrated to Waterloo, Canada, in 2007.

His research contributes to AI accessibility/adoption by developing ML strategies that can adapt to new environments while reducing the requirement for annotated training data.
