Obed Yeboah Boakye is a Ph.D. student at the University of Calgary in the chemical engineering department. His research is in catalyst development, performance evaluation and optimization of tri-reforming of methane process. Obed has both research and industrial experience in various chemical engineering plant operations which deal with energy and environment.
Aside from his interest in industry and academia, Obed likes to engage in various volunteering activities, such as serving at food banks and mentoring new international students at his previous colleges. He also enjoys playing soccer and watching social and scientific documentaries in his free time.
